About Riverland Basketball Association
Since the 1990/91 season, Riverland Basketball has brought together players from the five main towns in the Riverland—Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, and Waikerie. By forming a single association, we’ve created a thriving competition that unites our communities for the love of the game. Each town is represented by a club, with delegates from each contributing to the management of the Association alongside our dedicated Management Committee.
Competitive Divisions for All Ages
Our association hosts a variety of divisions to suit all skill levels and age groups:
- Seniors: Competing in Divisions 1 through 4 every Thursday night
- Juniors: Ranging from Under 12 to Under 18, playing on Friday nights
Games are held in air-conditioned indoor venues across all Riverland towns, ensuring a comfortable environment for players and fans alike.

A Community Passion
With over 1,000 registered players, Riverland Basketball is one of the most popular sports in the region. Our summer-only season kicks off at the start of Term 4 each year and culminates in Grand Finals after the March long weekend:
- Thursday Night: Division 2, 3, and 4 Seniors
- Friday Night: Division 1 Women and Men
- Saturday: All Junior divisions
